I
am excited to be the new 2020-21 President.
Libraries, especially Ormond, and books are very special to me. My daughter, Kristine, is a former OB
librarian.
Many
things have changed in the past few months and will continue to be
different. We are all adapting to masks,
gloves, curbside pickup, etc., and fear of the unknown. We had our End of the Year FOL Board meeting
via an eblast! I know that working
together we will continue supporting the Library and Staff.
The
NEW, REMODELED OB Library opened on June 1, welcoming back patrons. Numbers will be limited, masks are
encouraged, and social distance should be maintained. These guidelines are to
ensure the health and safety of patrons and the staff. CHECK OUT the new look as you CHECK OUT a

Thanks to the Past President, Jane Finchum.
What a marvelous job she did for the previous four years. She and Former VP Joanie Krueger accomplished
much for FOL. Thanks to both. They will continue to work on the Board, as will
Shirley Weibel, Assistant Treasurer.
